With professionalism, attention to detail and 40 years’ experience in the WA construction industry we're here to help when you need it most.

Our Story

Having worked in the delivery of remote projects for almost 20 years, we took a step back from full-time work in 2016 to re-evaluate our careers. While our passion for construction, problem solving and working as part of a team remained, our work-life balance needed a change.

After experiencing first-hand the challenges that come with meeting ever-changing client demands, juggling staff and prioritising long lists of urgent tasks, we saw a need for experienced, readily-available resources who could take the pressure off during busy periods.

By building lasting relationships with our clients, and applying our experience in a non-traditional way, it's our aim to meet that need.

Our Approach

We believe the key to successful delivery is good communication. It is our first priority to understand our client’s needs so that we can adopt an appropriate approach, maintain appropriate attention to detail and ultimately deliver in line with expectations.

We are able to work productively, either independently or as part of a team, and take pride in sharing our experience to deliver quality products which meet these needs.

Our Team

Kate Witton

Kate is a civil and construction engineer whose background spans earthworks, concrete, structural steel and marine construction. Having spent a large portion of her career in site-based roles, she has invaluable insight into the logistics, challenges and Client expectations involved in large-scale projects, in both government and mining sectors.

Kate has worked in roles ranging from engineer and project manager, to commercial and operations manager, and has a good understanding of business needs at various levels within an organisation. Her strength and interest in the commercial aspect of project delivery has seen her work closely with senior managers and project teams to influence culture changes around Client contractual relationships and cost reporting processes.

Kate’s technical knowledge coupled with a passion for writing is ideally suited to bid writing, construction methodologies and commercial claims.

Colby Thompson

Colby is a civil and construction engineer who has worked predominantly for one of Australia’s leading SMP contractors. This has afforded him the opportunity to work with, and learn from the best in the industry.

Having delivered projects ranging in complexity from routine maintenance to major greenfields developments, Colby has a strong appreciation for the complicated logistics involved with overseas fabrication, modularisation and heavy lift craneage.

Through his most recent Client-facing roles, he has also gained a solid understanding of what is ultimately important to the end customer.

This knowledge, coupled with Colby's technical experience, facilitates a wholistic approach to complicated staging plans, heavy lift assessments and construction methodologies.
